Ambassador invited to study in United States

By the words of the ambassador of the United States of America Aldona Zofia Wos, must boldly use the opportunities to study abroad. The United States of America are waiting docile young people of Estonia.
The gymnasium pupils can apply for exchange student and thousands of colleges of U.S. are waiting for students, said Wos by meeting with the school leavers of Keila gymnasiums on the 28th of September. It is important to know, where to get the information about possibilities. Mrs. ambassador suggested the home page of the Embassy of the United States as the best possibility.
On the 28th of September visited the ambassador of the United States of America Aldona Zofia Wos Keila Gymnasium and Keila United Gymnasium. After brief conversation with the leaders of school and town, delivered Wos a lecture to school leavers. The main message of the lecture was, that to start studying in the United States of America, is easier than it`s thought. The difficulties with the visa and bankrolling are to solve. The polish origin ambassador affirmed, that all who don`t have bad intentions, are waited to United States. Visitig the schools has formed as a tradition to the Embassy of United States in Estonia, which has been continued also by Aldona Zofia Wos, who was sworn in the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the United States of America in Estonia in August 2004. Keila United Gymnasium was her 75th school, which she visited in Estonia. In case of that, gave she to school people the book-shaped cake as a gift.
From the side of Keila greeted mrs. ambassador deputy mayor Roland Tõnisson and education advisor Jüri Järvik. The Keila visit finished in Mihkli Church, where Mrs. ambassador put the candle and flowers to altar dedicated to Estonian woman.
